Torneälv, Tärendöälv, Piilojärvi m fl vatten

We have two large rivers in our fish conservation area, Torneälv and Tärendöälven. Torneälv. A varied fishing water where most fish species found up here can be caught, from perch and ide to salmon. Tärendöälven. A deep and relatively fast river, though with occasionally difficult banks. Here lies the real challenge, with fishing for salmon, grayling or trout. The river is known for its fine trout stock, but in recent years also for its hard-fighting salmon. In addition, we have a number of streams, Pipiöjoki, Merasjoki, Junojoki, with various fish species, grayling, trout etc. We also have a large number of lakes with perch, pike and roach of different sizes. Piilojärvi is a lake where we have farmed rainbow trout, trout and char for almost 50 years; it is a put-and-take lake where trout of up to 5 kg can be caught. Regarding Piilojärvi, motorhomes/caravans may only stand during the day, NOTE!!! not overnight. NOTE!!! Fishing ban in Piilojärvi from 27/5 2026 due to fish stocking. Opens for shore fishing on 19/6 2026 at 10.00. Opens for boat fishing the second weekend in July. There are one or more put-and-take waters with stocked game fish in the area. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15. Applies only in certain waters or at certain locations; see fishing rules/comment. The guardian must have read and approved the applicable fishing rules and regulations. Only in natural watercourses. Not stocked lakes. The fish conservation area was formed at the beginning of the 70s. We carry out fish conservation so that the public can get out and enjoy fishing and the beautiful nature.
