Kalixälv, a stretch of 3,5 km on the southern side from the Vettasjärvi village boundary in the west to Gällivare common-land forest boundary in the east, alternating rapids and small pools. Salmon, Trout and Grayling Kää ... Kalixälv, a stretch of 3,5 km on the southern side from the Vettasjärvi village boundary in the west to Gällivare common-land forest boundary in the east, alternating rapids and small pools. Salmon, Trout and Grayling Kääntöjärvi, a long narrow lake 6 km long in scenic surroundings, Trout, Perch, Pike and Whitefish Välijoki, a rushing stream with a fall height of 18m along its stretch between Mettäjärvi and Kääntöjärvi FISHING PROHIBITED! Reproduction area for trout - sea trout Vuosko, Iso - Pikku Salmijärvi, Muotkajärvi Forest lakes, Perch, Pike and Burbot Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 17. Kääntöjärvi Samf, association manages the village's jointly owned land and water. We work to create a pleasant environment for permanent residents, cottage owners and outdoor recreation.
