Saittarova Lautakoski FVOF

Saittarova Lautakoski Fishing Conservation Area manages waters in the vicinity of the villages. There are two lakes where rainbow trout and trout are stocked annually, Tunturisalmijärvi and Kivijärvi. Fishing waters are also found in Tärendö and Kalix rivers, with salmon, grayling, trout etc. In addition, there are a large number of lakes with perch, pike, roach etc. Opening on 14 March, with a special opening-day permit. A snowmobile or skis are needed. NOTE: the road between Tärendö and Masugnsbyn (road 867) has now been fully repaired and is in good condition. The opening and start date will be announced here in mid-February. Fishing waters are also found in Tärendö and Kalix rivers, with salmon, grayling, trout etc. In addition, there are a large number of lakes with perch, pike, roach etc. In Kalix älv, the area begins below Pahakurkkio and extends to just before Vaenvaara on the eastern side. In Tärendö älv, we manage the waters on the western side, where the entire river is not within the area. Within the area there is one or more “put-and-take” water with stocked game fish. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15. Only in the company of a guardian/adult/person who has a valid permit (on that person’s quota). The guardian must have read and approved the applicable fishing rules and regulations. In Saittarova there is a shop open around the clock. The shop is staffed on weekdays 11-17; at other times you log in with Bank-ID.
