Åländerns FVOF Fishing with hand gear, 1 hand gear per card only allowed (fishing rod, casting rod and pipe). The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred. The fishing license must always be with you when fishing and must be shown to a fishing inspector or member of an association upon request. On the trolling card, a maximum of 4 rods per card applies. Fishing may only be conducted for the own household and catches may not be sold. Net fishing and crayfish fishing are not included. Children up to 15 years of age fish for free in the company of an adult who has a fishing license. No trolling or vertical fishing during May – June (to protect pikeperch and perch spawning.) Fishing ban in August. (Water owners only fish on their own waters). For general comfort, avoid fishing closer than 100 m to the jetty or swimming area. Take care of nature! If the card holder does not comply with the specified regulations or otherwise damages the fishing in the lake, the fishing license ceases to be valid immediately.
