Sallsjöån, Gåstjärn, Per-Salomonstjärn m fl sjöar

Sallsjöån system’s FVO is an area with varied fishing. The system contains several larger lakes and smaller unregulated rivers flowing between them. There are good pike and perch in the lakes, and in the rivers between the lakes there are game fish such as trout and grayling. The area is easily accessible, with roads leading to most waters, and shelters are available at some waters. Gåstjärn and Per-Salomonstjärn contain stocked char, trout and rainbow trout. The area is one of Sweden’s best areas for bream and ide fishing. The international angling competition Lappland Bream Master is held annually on the lakes Lavsjön, Sallsjön and Ullsjön. all waters are: Gåstjärn, Per Salomontjärn, Sallsjöån, Tjusjöån, Lillsjön, Lajksön, Lavsjön, Salljön, Lånnsjön, Tjusjön, Sämsjön, Ullsjön (Svanaby), Ullsjön (Ullsjöberg), Eldsjön, Eksjön, Svanavattnet, Bergvattenån and Fjällån. There are one or more “put-and-take” waters with stocked game fish in the area. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15. Only in the company of a parent/guardian/adult/person who has a valid fishing permit (from that person’s quota) Sallsjösystemets FVO is a merger of the former Lajksjö, Lavsjö and Svanaby fishing associations. The merger took place in 1988 and the association’s objective is, among other things, to work for opportunities for better fishing in the waters managed by the fish conservation area.
