The fish conservation area includes Stora and Lilla Aspen, Kratten, Flogen and Kolbäcksån from Semla upper lock to the strait between Lilla Aspen and Åmänningen. The fish species include zander, pike, perch and trout. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 14. Aspensjöarnas FVOF was formed in 1987 through a merger of the fish conservation associations for Stora and Lilla Aspen. All income from permit sales goes towards improving the fishing.
