Boat trailer and towing vehicle may only be parked in the parking area south of the parish hall.FEGEN NATURE RESERVEIn addition to general legislation, Fegen is covered by extended protection:1 April to 31 July there is a prohibition on going ashore on many islands and places. These are marked with yellow signs and, in some cases, buoys in the water.1 April to 31 July the speed on the lake is limited to 5 knots.It is prohibited to light fires or camp, except at specially prepared places.More detailed information about the nature reserve is available on the County Administrative Boards’ websites.FISHERIES SUPERVISIONOur fisheries supervisors conduct random spot checks. During an inspection, You will be asked to show a valid permit and identification.DEPTH MAPFegen is a tricky lake with many shallows and stones just below the water surface. "Fascinerande Fegen" has produced a depth map of the lake, available for sale from Alvhaga Vildmark tel 070-5906415.Fegen is regulated and forms part of Ätran’s water system. Note that the water level may vary with an amplitude of 1,75 metres, and the depth map is based on the water level 132,65 m above sea level. Only when accompanied by a guardian/adult/person holding a valid permit (within that person’s quota) Fegens Fishing Conservation Area Association manages fishing in the whole of Lake Fegen. The association’s purpose is to promote fishing and fisheries management and to sell permits to the public.
