The lake has very clear and fine water. With a great deal of sand and stone around the lake. It is also a spring-fed lake. As it is located in Bohuslän, there are partly high mountains around the lake mixed with forest. You can fish for pike, perch, char and trout etc. ... Hällungen is a spring-fed lake with very clear and clean water. Around the lake there are very many mountains and gravel ridges. There are also many small sandy bays. On the western side there is a long gravel bottom where you can wade out and fish. On the eastern side there is deep-water fishing with mountain and stony bottom. There are also several reed beds around the lake. Three larger streams as water flow and several smaller brooks. The lake has very clear and fine water with a great deal of sand and stone around the lake. It is also a spring-fed lake. As it is located in Bohuslän, there are partly high mountains around the lake mixed with forest. You can fish for smelt, pike, perch, char, trout, eel, bream, tench etc. A record perch of 2350 grams and pike of 14 kilos have been caught. There is a logged digital nautical chart that can be downloaded free of charge, but the requirement is that you must have a Lowrance echo sounder/navigator. We have a fishing association that has been owned by landowners for many years. It began in the mid-1900s. To be able to offer others the opportunity to fish and enjoy nature in our lake.
