- Targeted fishing against Gös type drop fishing, vertical jigging and the like is prohibited from the turn of the year until Midsummer Day.
- Minimum length for grayling and trout, 40 cm.
- Maximum size Gos 75cm.
- Max 3 salmon-type fish and Gos per day and card and a total of six salmonid fish and gos per week, Sunday to Sunday.

Avesta Norra FVO Fishing rules: Maximum one fishing license per person. Only 2 rods per fishing license. All fishing that is whittled, such as nets, gillnets, seines and long lines, is only allowed to fishing license holders. These must be visibly (above the water surface) marked with names. Only fishing license holders are allowed to have roach cabins. These must be visibly marked. Scissor fishing and hook fishing are prohibited. Angling is limited to 12 don per fishing license/right. Minimum length for grayling and trout, 40 cm. Grayling 35 cm. Maximum size Gos 75cm. Targeted fishing against Gös type drop fishing, vertical jigging and the like is prohibited from the turn of the year until Midsummer Day. Max 3 salmon-type fish and Gos per day and card and a total of six salmonid fish and gos per week, Sunday to Sunday. Crayfish fishing may only be conducted by fishing right holders within the FVO. Avesta Norra FVO (Kräftfiske) The card is valid for crayfish fishing within the fishery conservation area with 10 crayfish cages over two weekends. from 2026-08-28 at 5:00 PM until 2026-08-31 10:00 and 2026-09-04 at 17:00 until 2026-09-06 at 10:00 The cages should be taken up (daily break) between 10:00 and 17:00. Cage floats must be marked with the fishing license number and telephone number. Unmarked/incorrectly marked cages are taken care of by FVO.
