FISKAIBERG - Fish-conservation areas and businesses in cooperation. Fiska i Bergkortet offers a unique fishing permit that simplifies your stay and fishing in Berg Municipality by providing access to many waters with varied fishing in currents, streams, tarns and lakes, without having to buy different fishing permits for each fish-conservation area. You only need one permit for over 130 waters covering an 85 000-hectare fishing area in Berg Municipality. This is one of the country's largest cross-border fishing permits, with everything from forest fishing to fishing on bare mountain terrain (state waters). The fishing area extends from the southernmost municipal district in Berg to the northern municipal district, in a water area covering 85 000 hectares. The concept of "interval catch" applies in the area, meaning that you may take three fish between 25-40 cm/day, of which one may be a so-called trophy fish over 40 cm. The following fishing areas within Berg Municipality are included in this permit: Häggsåssjön, Dörsån and Gräftån with associated water flows from State waters west of Gräftåvallen down to the Åre municipal boundary. Gruckarna: entire KFO. Handsjön: entire FVO except LÅNGTJÄRN. Högån-Hovermoån: entire FVO. Klövsjön: entire FVO except SVARTÅSTJÄRN. Rätan: entire FVO except STORTJÄRN in Kvarnsjö. Skålan: entire FVO except SKÅLSJÖN. Storsjön-Berg: free handheld-tackle fishing throughout the lake. Svenstaån: entire FVO. Tåssåsen sameby (State waters): all State fishing waters within Berg Municipality. Åsarna: entire FVO except HALLÅSTJÄRN and FUA. Övre Hoan: entire FVO except HORTEN and STORTJÄRNEN in Vitvattnet. These have joined together to make it possible to fish in all (or parts of) the respective areas. There are one or more accessible waters in the area. FiskaiBerg - Berg Municipality lies in the centre of Sweden and has a population of just over 7000 people.
