Greningssjön-Halasjöns fvof

All our lakes have good and clean waters. Boat-launching places are available at both Halasjön and Greningssjön. We lease approx. 75 per cent of Halasjön through Solberg-Vikens fvo; the upper north-western part of Halasjön belongs to no fishery conservation area. However, Kilens property and landowners have fishing rights. We also lease Baksjön through Solberg-Vikens fvo. Trout are also found in some rivers and streams. Access by car is good to most of our waters, but reaching the southern side of Halasjön by car requires a barrier key. PURPOSE The association's purpose is to have a long-term plan concerning fishery conservation and fishing and to facilitate cooperation with adjoining fishery conservation area associations regarding shared waters. OBJECTIVE The objective is to promote the joint interests of fishing-rights holders, taking into account the regulations applicable to fishing. Coordinate fishery conservation and the conduct of fishing. Make fishing available to local residents and the public through the sale of fishing permits. Since 1948, pike fry, perch, whitefish and salmon trout have been stocked. Also grayling; the most recent stocking was in 1998, when 8000 grayling eggs were released. The waters of Greningssjön and Halasjön contain pike, perch, roach and whitefish. The fishery conservation area and the association were established in 1993.
