Fisklössjön, Stor-Gussjön mfl

Gussjö-Paljakka is a forest and lake area in western Medelpad with excellent salmonid fishing. Salmonid fish, trout and char have been stocked in some lakes and tarns. Perch and pike are common in the other waters. Stor-Gussjön also contains whitefish. Some tarns are also suitable for fly fishing. Fireplaces, wind shelters, toilets and caravan parking areas are available at several locations in the area. Fine cottages around Stor-Gussjön are available for hire. In the area there are one or more waters for catch-and-release, i.e. the fish are carefully released after being caught. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15. Only accompanied by a parent/guardian/adult/person holding a valid fishing permit (on that person’s quota). The parent/guardian must have read and approved the applicable fishing rules and regulations. Actively fishing children under 15 fish on the adult’s permit and quota. Paljakka Mångfald HB is a young company leasing the Gussjö-Paljakka area with the aim of developing the area for sport fishing, nature experiences and relaxation for the whole family.
