This is something completely different from "put & take". Here you will find only naturally reared fish and sport fishing of the highest standard. The stock consists of trout, Arctic char, grayling, pike, perch and burbot. The stocking carried out comes from the roe collection that we ourselves carry out in these waters every autumn. You have probably heard of "Håckrenrödingen" - renowned for its quality and size. In winter, ice fishing is what applies in Håckrenmagasinet; a spoon lure and maggots on the hook usually give good results. The best fishing spots are at the upper part of the reservoir and down by the regulating dam. When fishing in summer, no particular area is better or worse in terms of catches. Decisive factors are weather and wind, as well as the fish's willingness to bite. A boat and trolling tackle work throughout the summer, whereas fishing from the shore is best in early summer in connection with the grayling's spawning. In the tarns, a spinning rod and fly rod are most suitable. Copper and dark spinners are effective lures, but fishing with worms is also permitted. In most of the tarns, only trout occur. Trout fishing in Rullån is best at higher water levels in early summer. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 17 years.
