The fishing area is located very close to Åre municipality's central town Järpen.The fishing area consists of the western part of Lake Liten and Åreälven up to Ristafallet, approximately 7 km.The water offers p& ... The fishing area is located very close to Åre municipality's central town Järpen.The fishing area consists of the western part of Lake Liten and Åreälven up to Ristafallet, approximately 7 km.See the map for further information about the boundaries of the water.Note that Nylandsvalltjärnen is not included in the fishing area.The water offers exciting fishing for the delicacies of Norrland. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15. Liten Västra FVOF works for tourism-oriented and sustainable fishing. The association makes fishing available to the public through permit sales. We cooperate with Helgesjöns FVOF and Undersåkersälvens FVOF in fishing supervision and with a joint permit for the "Åreälvens nedre kortfiskeområde".
