Ottsjö FVOF 1. Fishing gear. The following fishing gear is permitted: Fly rod, spinning and reel rod, drag line (including longline) and ice rod. Fishing gear may not be equipped with more than 3 hooks or other baits. Only one fishing gear may be used at a time. Other fishing gear or fishing methods may not be used. This means that feeding fish, so-called "mashing", is prohibited. All types of paravanes are not permitted. 2. The fishing license is personal. It must be carried while fishing and shown to the police, fishing inspector or fishing rights owner upon request. 3. Family discount. Children under 16 years of age who fish in the company of a parent or guardian may fish for free without a fishing license. 4. Minimum size of caught fish: Trout 35cm and Grayling 25cm. No minimum size for Char. 5. Prohibition. During the period 1.9-31.10 there is a fishing ban in flowing water. For the rivers in the area, a ban applies within a distance of 200 meters from the inlet or outlet of Ottsjön. NOTE: Fishing ban 100m downstream and upstream of the barrier in Storån. All flowing water in Storån belongs to Ottsjö fvof, highest limit for Håckren, see map. 6. Storån completely closed from the ice breaking up until May 31. Limited number of fish 5t, per day and fisherman. In Storån, sport fishing with fly fishing or spinners is allowed. NOTE: Worms and baited hooks are prohibited. Fishing from a boat or other floating equipment is also prohibited in Storån. 7. The Ottsjön part of Vålån from Ottsjön to the highway bridge is protected. The area around the wading pond from Skålsviksudden in the west to Rävsandsudden in the east and directly across is temporarily protected for all fishing. See red marking. Ice fishing is permitted in the protected zone from 2021 250 meters from the Vålån outlet in Ottsjön 8. Family cards are valid for spouses, cohabitants and children under 18 years of age. A control fee will be charged for violations of the rules.
