Öjarssjöns, Öjån, Hundvågen m fl vatten

Öjarssjön, with all its islets and skerries, offers exclusive pike fishing and large perch! There is a boat for hire here. Öjån then begins at the lake and is one of Ammerån's most important tributaries. Here you fish for grayling and trout in an unregulated river with fine pools and streams. The waters are also easily accessible from the village of Öjarn and forest roads, and road 339 crosses the river between the villages of Flykälen and Henningskälen. There are one or more waters for catch-and-release in the area, i.e. the fish are carefully released after being caught. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15. Only accompanied by a guardian/adult Fish conservation area association with a lake system with inflowing water and outflow. Öjånföreningen is on the boundary in Jämtland county and belongs to both Strömsund and Krokom municipalities.
