Ransundets FVO All forms of sport fishing are permitted. Fishing is permitted with one (1) hand tool/person. Net and otter fishing is only permitted for fishing rights owners and their descendants. The minimum size for trout when fishing in the Råndaån River is 25cm. Fishing for trout and char during the spawning season 1 Sep.-31 Oct. is prohibited. The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred. Children and young people fish for free until they turn 15. The FVO can decide on temporary fishing bans in certain waters. Fishing license sellers can inform you about where the fishing ban applies at any given time. A control fee of 10% of the price base amount is charged to people caught without a valid fishing license.

Ransundet is a small village located 31 kilometres south-west of Hede. The area contains 12 tarns and lakes and approximately 15 kilometres of running water. Among the waters are Ransundssjön, Storrassen, Spjuttjärn, Gällerötjärn and Långsjön. The fishing environment is mountain water with Arctic char and trout in hilly mountain terrain. Ransundssjön also has perch. Some waters can be reached by road. There are barbecue areas and wind shelters by Råndan and Spjuttjärn. There is also a rest cabin at Gällerötjärn. Boats are available for hire on some lakes. Welcome to adventurous fishing with wonderful nature experiences! Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 14. We are a small FVO with exciting waters. No stocking of fish for 20 years, only natural reproduction.
