Russfjärdens FVOF offers fishing within a large area adjacent to Russfjärden in Ströms Vattudal. It is an extensive water system in northern Jämtland, with Ströms Vattudal as the dominant lake, but the area also includes several smaller lakes, tarns, rivers and streams. The area provides opportunities for varied fishing in scenic surroundings. An extensive road network makes most waters easily accessible, with access roads and parking facilities. Strömsund is the main town in the area.In the area there are fine fishing waters, most of which have populations of trout, grayling, whitefish, perch, pike, roach, burbot, ide and rainbow trout. Smaller tarns lack game fish.Svarttjärn near Hallviken is not included in the permit. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 17 years. The association was formed in 1992.The association shall carry out fish conservation, promote the interests of fishing-rights owners, and sell permits to the public.The area is also included in Vattudalskortet and Ströms Vattudal Trollingkort.
