Skålans Fvo Fishing permits issued for Skålans Fiskevårdsområde (FVO) are valid for fishing with handheld gear within the area marked on the map. Fishing permits are personal and children up to the age of 16 are allowed to fish on the basis of their guardian's fishing permit and quota. In all waters, a maximum of three baits are allowed per handheld gear. Upstream of the road bridge at Välleströmmen, only fly fishing is permitted. Downstream of the road bridge, fly fishing and spinning are permitted. Fishing with baited hooks, worms, bait fish, etc. is not permitted. Catch limit: Trout, Grayling = 2 per day. Minimum size: Trout, Grayling = 35 cm. Trout is protected in flowing waters from September 1st to October 31st. Oxsjöån is protected from all fishing because it is important for trout reproduction.
