Öjån, Hans-Ersa-Stortjärnen, Skarpabbortjärnen m fl vatten

A large part of Öjån, one of Ammerån's most important tributaries, runs through Yxskaftkälens fishery conservation area. Here you fish for grayling and trout in an unregulated river with fine pools and rapids. Within the fishery conservation area there are also several tarns of varying sizes with large numbers of perch and in some cases pike. Öjån and some tarns are easily accessible from the village of Yxskaftkälen and various forest roads. In winter most of the tarns are easily accessible via snowmobile tracks/trails. Skarpabborrtjärnen and Stortjärnen are put-and-take waters. At Skarpabbortjärnen there is an accessibility-adapted jetty. There are windbreaks at both. At present no fish have been stocked and both waters are currently included in the general annual permit. Within the area there are one or more accessibility-adapted waters. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15. Only in the company of a parent/adult/person who has a valid fishing permit (on that person's quota). The parent must have read and approved the applicable fishing rules and regulations.
