The association Niemisel Fredrikafors Fiskevårdsförening was formed in 1961. The association makes fishing available against a fishing permit in the Råne river between Niemiholm and the municipal boundary at Degerselet, in other waters around Niemisel, and stocked fish in Mittitjärn.
