The size of pike and perch is not unique, but they can weigh up to ten and 1.5 kg respectively.Svartån flows from Sommen in the southern Östergötland highlands to Roxen in the middle of the plain, a height difference of over 100 metres. Downstream of Linkelösa mill, the river is fairly wide and shallow and has abundant vegetation, and on this stretch there are good opportunities to catch large ide. From Karstorp and downstream towards Odensfors, the river flows gently and includes several places for good fishing.The local fishing permit is valid for approx. 10 km of the river.The most common fish species are pike, perch, roach, bream, ide, rudd, eel, burbot, tench, asp and ide. In total, there are 20 species in the river Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15.
