- Fishing in Ätran from the waterfall in Vist to the Kallbadhuset, in streams and rivers and at all bathing areas is prohibited.
- Goose fishing ban in certain protected areas from March 15 or ice removal until June 15.
- All fishing and all fishing methods not specified above are prohibited.
- All zander under 50cm and over 70cm must be re-released.
- All pike over 80 cm must be released again.
- Minimum size for trout is 50 cm, restocking is recommended when the trout stock is under construction.

Övre Åsundens FVOF The short fishing area extends from Åsundsholm approx. 1.5 km south of the Fästeredssund bridge to a line from Kallbadhuset to Prågens Camping in the north. Fishing in Ätran from the waterfall in Vist to the Kallbadhuset, in streams and rivers and at all bathing areas is prohibited. Rules for short fishing within the Upper Åsund Fisheries Management Area. The card is valid for fishing with hand gear and trolling with a maximum of two rods per person and for ice fishing with a maximum of 10 anglers or the ice fishing net. Children under the age of 16 may fish for free with the same regulations as for card fishing. All zander under 50cm and over 70cm must be re-released. A maximum of 3 walleyes per day may be kept. Goose fishing at depths greater than 9m is not permitted. Goose fishing ban applies from May 15 to June 15. Goose fishing ban in certain protected areas from March 15 or ice removal until June 15. Applies to all water north of a line between Åsastugan and Båtsällskapet's pier. All pike over 80 cm must be released again. Anyone who fishes without a valid fishing license is punished according to Swedish law. In case of violation of other rules, a control fee of at least SEK 1,000 can be issued on the spot by the fisheries inspector.
