Welcome to cosy Öxabäck.Here we have forest, lakes and nature on our doorstep, with plenty of areas for walking.In a total of 21 different Lakes and watercourses, you can fish. There is plenty of pike and perch in most of them. Zander can be caught in Öjasjön. There are substantial boat ramps in 6 of our largest lakes. (Öjasjön, Sävsjö, Öxasjön, Älgsjön, Farssjö and Järvasjön) In the area there is one or more "put-and-take" fishing water with stocked salmonids. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 18. A permit is required from and including the year in which one turns 18. The present Öxabäcks FVOF was formed in 1994 through the merger of different water areas in Öxabäck parish.Much earlier, fishing rights were of great importance to surrounding farms. The association manages fishing rights through permit sales. The board works with fisheries management and our goal is to make our lakes and watercourses accessible to the public. 6 boat ramps make launching a boat easy.
