Södra Stora Le FVOF

Stora Le offers good fishing, mainly for perch and pike. There is quite a lot of vendace, which lives pelagically, and therefore both perch and pike may stay along isolated shallows, often near deeper water. There is also quite a lot of wild trout here, which can become fairly large in places. The lake has clear water and is more than one hundred metres deep. For those seeking more bays and archipelago, the northern parts of the fisheries conservation area are the right choice. The areas outside Rävmarken can offer varied depths and exciting places. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 18. Handheld tackle only. Only with handheld tackle and in accordance with the applicable rules. Södra Stora Le Fiskevårdsområdesförening was formed in spring 2026 and manages fishing in large parts of Lake Stora Le from Dals-Ed in the south up to the boundary of Bomarken according to the available map. Stora Le is a deep, clear rift-valley lake with magnificent surroundings. Many freshwater fish species are found here, as well as a smaller stock of large trout. The association’s aim is to manage fishing for the water owners and offer permits to the public in accordance with the applicable rules. NOTE!
