Hällesjö FVOF

Hällesjö is 10 Swedish miles from Sundsvall, Östersund and Sollefteå. Within an hour's drive from Sundsvall, you are on the area's waters.Here there are pike, perch, roach, bream and whitefish. Large trout, grayling, eel and burbot also occur. The variety of waters is great. You can travel by boat through the 4 lakes from Hällsjön to Lungsjön. Here you have excellent opportunities to catch giant pike. You also have a chance of catching a large trout.If you want to fish undisturbed in a tarn surrounded by ancient forest, there are as many as you could wish to choose from. There is often really fine perch. Trout, char and rainbow trout are stocked annually in Harsjön, Backsjön and Fröståstjärn. The lakes are in fine forest settings. They are open in both summer and winter. In Harsjön you can hire a fine cabin with 8 beds.We have some rivers with good trout and grayling fishing. Within the area there is one or more "put-and-take" waters with stocked game fish. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 14. The association manages and cares for the fishing within Hällesjö's approx. 50 lakes, tarns and watercourses. We stock game fish annually in 3 lakes. In the other waters, we aim to increase the amount of large perch and pike, among other things by placing brush bundles and recommending the release of larger pike.
