Svansjöarnas FVO (Värmland) Fishing License permits fishing in lakes Lången, Eldan, Östersvan, Mellansvan, Västersvan and Emmeskogssjön as well as tributary small lakes and ponds within the License Area. Streams excluded! License permits fishing with handrods and tug rowing with a maximum of two pulls per boat. Trolling also requires a trolling permit. Minors under 16 years of age need no License. Fishing regulations and conservation periods Svansjöarna FVO 2023-05-15 Mini measures of fish and crayfish. • Trout/salmon 40cm • Length 45cm • Crabs 9cm Peace times. • Crayfish 1 Sep to the second Wednesday in August at 17.00 • Trout/salmon 1 Sep to 31 Dec Fishing ban. • Prohibited to fish in running water, does not apply to crayfish fishing (see separate regulations). • Prohibition of net fishing within 300m of inlets and outlets of lakes. • Scissors prohibited Miscellaneous • Networks must be marked with name and telephone number • Fishing with nets is prohibited in Lake Ämmeskogsjn. We apply a control fee of 500 SEK for violations of the regulations. . Svansjöarnas FVO (Värmland) Trolling In addition to a standard fishing permit, a trolling permit is required, valid for the same period as the fishing permit.
