Lake Snyten is situated in Norberg Municipality in Bergslagen. It has an area of approx. 3 square kilometres and is 24m at its deepest. The eastern edge of the lake is directly adjacent to the area devastated by the major forest fire in 2014 (the largest fire in Sweden in modern times). During the winter of 2025, FVO created 5 brush bundles marked with drums and shown on the map on iFiske. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15. A parent/guardian must have read and approved the applicable fishing rules and regulations. Snyten-Hällingens fvo has decided that children/young people fish free up to 15 years. Snyten-Hällingen FVO is an association of all owners of fishing waters in Snyten and Hällingen.
