- All trawling is prohibited in the entire Fisheries Conservation Area.
- Area division and prohibition times see attached map Show consideration for each other when you fish and the one who is first at a fishing place must not be pushed away.
- Perch: Fishing ban 25 / 4-25 / 5, minimum size 45 cm, Max 2 pcs. per person and day.
- Aspen will be returned during the spawning period April-May.

Mariestads sportfiskeklubb Permitted fishing methods: Spin, Angling and fly fishing. 1 gear per person. All Trout must be re-released. Fishing for smelt with nets is free during the period March-June. Aspen will be returned during the spawning period April-May. Perch: Fishing ban 25 / 4-25 / 5, minimum size 45 cm, Max 2 pcs. per person and day. Fishing from a boat is only allowed downstream of the Marieholm Bridge. All trawling is prohibited in the entire Fisheries Conservation Area. A statement from the Fisheries Supervisor or a grant by the water has the same validity as these rules. At the request of the fisheries inspector, photo identification must be presented. Fishing in violation of the regulations will be prosecuted.
