The lake is located between Ludvika and Smedjebacken along road 621, with stocked rainbow trout but also perch, bream, pike, roach and tench. Six fishing jetties are located around the bay, as well as barbecue areas, a woodshed and an outdoor privy. A log cabin with a wood-burning stove is available to warm up in during poor weather. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 11 years. Only when accompanied by a guardian/adult/person who has a valid permit (on that person's quota). The village association was formed approximately 25 years ago. Hagge Byalag is a non-profit association that shall promote the common interests of Hagge residents. It shall be politically independent and act as an advocacy body towards the municipality and other authorities. The association keeps the landscape open with hired sheep and cattle.
